Holiday Ford Solar Energy Tracker

Arch Solar out of Plymouth, WI has installed a 469 kW solar installation on the Holiday grounds; the largest solar power system of any Wisconsin auto dealer.

Holiday continues to add level-2 electric vehicle chargers and DC fast chargers across our automotive campus to give our guests a convenient and cost-effective charging stop.  

Holiday Automotive CEO Thor Gilbertson says “As we add more electric vehicle charging stations at Holiday, we feel it’s important to offset a significant portion of the electricity that we use as a company. We’ve got a lot of rooftop space, and as electric vehicle adoption continues to increase, it just makes sense to use some of that space for solar power.”

The Holiday Ford facility has been outfitted with a 460-panel array and the Holiday Collision and Glass Center adds another 396 panels. Mike Cornell of Arch Solar stated, “The 469 kW system is estimated to offset over 50% of the power usage of both buildings.”
