2015 Ford F-150 Pricing
Not long ago we brought you some information about the 2015 Ford F-150, but at that time there were still quite a few details left to be filled in by Ford, particularly those dealing with capability and pricing on the new Ford pickup. We’ve waited patiently along with you, but now we’re very excited to announce that those details have been released, so today we’re able to bring you the 2015 Ford F-150 pricing and performance numbers you’ve been wanting to know!
First, we’ll start with the MSRP for some of the 2015 Ford F-150 models that have been announced by Ford. MSRP, as you know, stands for manufacturer’s suggested retail price, so while these might not reflect the exact prices you’ll find everywhere, they’ll give you a good idea of how the all-new aluminum models will look in terms of pricing so you can see how one of these groundbreaking new pickups fits into your budget.
XL base work truck MSRP: $26,615 including the delivery fee. That’s for the regular cab, 6.5-foot bed, and rear-wheel drive.
XLT trim is set to go for $31,890, again with a regular cab, 6.5-foot bed, and rear-wheel drive configuration.
The Lariat will be recommended to sell for $39,880 with an extended cab (6.5-foot bed and rear-wheel drive).
King Ranch will start at $49,460 with a crew cab and rear-wheel drive, and finally the Platinum can be expected to sell for $52,155 for its crew cab, rear-drive version.
Now let’s move along to the specs we have. It looks like the new 2.7-liter EcoBoost is set to offer 325 horsepower and 375 pound-feet of torque, which will translate to a tow rating of 8,5000 and max payload of 2,250 for the 4×2 model. The base engine, which is a 3.5-liter V6, will make 283 horsepower, 255 pound-feet of torque, and tow up to 7,600 lbs with a max payload of 1,910.
How about miles per gallon and curb weights for the new 2015 Ford F-150. We’re still waiting on those numbers from Ford, but for now we’re appeased with this wealth of new information… until the next round of numbers comes in!
