How often should you clean your fuel system?
Chances are you consider yourself a pretty good vehicle owner – and we know you are. You get your oil changed when it’s time for its regular appointment (or close enough, right?), you drive carefully to reduce wear and tear, and you get your tires rotated to keep them in good shape longer. That’s all great, but we wonder: when was the last time you had some maintenance done on your fuel system? Yes, that’s a thing, and it’s one you might do well to look into depending on the mileage on your vehicle. How often should you clean your fuel system? The fact is that it varies from vehicle to vehicle and you should definitely consult your owner’s manual or our service center for an answer that’s tailored to your vehicle and driving habits.
Why have your fuel injector cleaned? One reason is that this can be a particularly pricey part to replace, and keeping it in good shape will cut down on wear and tear that can cause it to prematurely go out on you.
