Does the Ford Fusion have AWD?

If you’re thinking about getting a Ford Fusion, you’re probably looking for a sedan that’s got a little more than the average model. You want something that goes beyond the bare-bones basics and truly excels in areas that other cars might overlook. You probably want to know things like: Does the Ford Fusion have AWD? Is there a standard rear backup camera? What kind of mileage will I get? We’ll answer all these questions for you here on the blog and if you have more, just give us a call and ask!

Alright, so first question: What about that AWD? If you’re a Wisconsin driver like we are, we know this type of option is an important one to have depending on the type of driving you do and the frequency with which you need to be out on those sometimes-treacherous roadways (which for many of us is quite often!). Well, you’ll be happy to hear that the answer is yes! The Ford Fusion does have available AWD on any model other than the base S trim.

Ford Fusion AWD Fond du lac WINow, how about that standard rear backup camera? That’s on deck, too! All new Ford Fusion models come with a rear backup camera for your convenience and safety in a variety of situations. If you opt for the 8-inch screen, the picture of what’s behind you is even more clear!

On to gas mileage — If you go for the base 2.5-liter Duratec engine, your mileage will be 22 for city driving and 34 on highways according to EPA ratings. Opt for a model with the 1.5-liter Ecoboost and you’ve got 24 city/36 highway. If you end up choosing the 2.0-liter EcoBoost you’ve got 22 city/33 highway (highway drops a bit to 31 with AWD model) to go with your impressive 240 horsepower!
