2014 Halloween Fond du Lac

Recently, Ford came out with a new video on its Youtube channel that’s been making the rounds via social media and news sites. Have you seen it yet? This clever car wash prank has been getting laughs and screams — Check out the video above to watch it for yourself. We the audience are in on the joke from the beginning as we watch actors get into some truly terrifying costumes and see various groups of friends on their way to what they think is going to be just a filmed test drive that they’ve agreed to participate in. Their reaction to the monsters is pretty priceless. Now, what kind of spooky stuff can you get up to for this 2014 Halloween in Fond du Lac? We’ll give you some suggestions!

Whether you’ve already visited or are curious to check it out, the famous Octagon House here in Fond du Lac is the perfect place to visit this Halloween season. This historical landmark is a great place to take the family — Tours are available by appointment and also this year they’ll be hosting a Ghost Stories Tour on Halloween night at 7pm. Call 920-923-5656 to reserve tickets.

There are also some events going down at the Galloway House this weekend. Another of Fond du Lac’s favorite spook sites, the Galloway House is hosting a haunted tour on Fridays and Saturdays through November 1st. Tours are $10, or $20 for a fast pass. Got wee ones? A less-scary version is available on Sunday the 26th from 1-3pm and is just $3/person.

How about a party on Halloween? Make your way to the Share Fine Art Galleries on Military Road for a free event from 6pm-9pm. Refreshments, a scavenger hunt, and fortune telling will all be on the agenda.
