What is the most efficient engine in the 2016 Ford Focus?

If you’re planning on going with an automatic transmission in the Ford Focus, then there’s two great options for getting the most fuel efficiency out of it. First is the standard engine, a 2.0L Ti-VCT I-4 with Flex Fuel, which is rated for 27 City/40 Highway with the 6-speed Powershift automatic transmission. Otherwise, you can also get the 2016 Focus with a 1.0L Ti-VCT EcoBoost I-3 with Auto Start Stop technology. Even though this engine is also rated similarly at 28 City/40 Highway MPG, this doesn’t take into account how much the Start and Stop tech will save you on fuel.
