How much horsepower does the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor have?

The all-new 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor comes with a second-gen 3.5L high-output EcoBoost V6 engine. Now, some people are probably a little upset that we aren’t seeing a V8 under the hood of the Raptor — but honestly, the stats on this V6 speak for themselves. With this new engine, the 2017 Raptor will output 450 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque. Helping make use of this powerful and speedy engine is an advanced 10-speed automatic transmission, which promotes acceleration performance and efficiency. Because if the smaller engine in the 2017 Raptor, it has dropped around 500 pounds from the previous model.

How much MPG does the 2017 Ford Raptor Get?

The Ford Raptor puts its focus solely on off-roading, but even with its incredible power output, it still offers some decently competitive fuel efficiency numbers. The Raptor was made for rugged terrain, sand, rocks and everything else — but if you do have to take it on the highway you can expect to get about 18 MPG. The Raptor is also estimated by the EPA to get 15 MPG in the city. Its combined fuel efficiency rating of 16 MPG represents a 23 percent improvement over the previous model.
