What’s new for the 2019 Ford F-150 Raptor?
The Raptor was all-new in 2017, but for 2019 it’s getting some significant upgrades. Do you want to know what’s new for the 2019 Ford F-150 Raptor? That’s where we come in, and we can’t wait to tell you all about it.
New shocks for the 2019 Raptor
Do you remember the insanely impressive suspension of the 2018 Raptor? It’s being made even better with exclusive FOX™ 3.0 Internal Bypass shocks with Live Vale technology. In conjunction with the Terrain Management System™ already in the Raptor, these shocks can adapt to both off-road and on-road applications.
The shocks provide 13-inches of travel in the front and 13.9-inches of travel in the rear. If your Raptor takes to the air after a jump, the system will detect that and apply maximum stiffness to make for the best landing possible. This off-road machine just got even smarter.

How does Trail Control work?
Ford likens this new Trail Control system to cruise control, but for low-speed trail driving.
This innovative system automatically balances power and braking to the wheels individually, giving drivers the ability to focus their attention on the terrain.

Trail Control can be set at speeds from 1 mph up to 20 mph, allowing drivers to tackle anything from slow rock crawls to intense off-road trails. Not only can it power up one side of a mountain, but it can also maintain the brakes to keep you in control when you’re on your way back down.

Interior improvements to the 2019 Raptor
If you’ve ever sat in a 2018 Raptor, then you already know that the interior is near perfect. With everything in its proper place. However, if you rode the Raptor hard, you may have discovered that it’s easy to slide around a little in the seat. That issue will be a thing of the past with the 2019 model.
New to the 2019 model are Recaro sport seats. The Recaro brand is the same brand used in racecars the world over. These available seats give you the support and cushion that you need, and with blue Alcantara inserts it provides a beautiful look too.
