What Ford Fusions trim levels are there?
The Ford Fusion gives you a ton of options, and that’s obvious from just the trim levels alone. The standard lineup consists of the S, SE, Titanium, and the Platinum, with the Sport trim sitting sort of outside the traditional lineup, but we will get to that more momentarily. For now, it’s worth noting that the Sport trim slots in-between the Titanium and the Platinum trims.
The Fusion also offers hybrid versions of all of these trims except for the Sport, and it offers Plug-in hybrid versions for all but the S. The plug-in versions are called Energi models, and in terms of price, they come with the highest premium.

Exclusive engine for the Fusion Sport
You read that right, the Fusion Sport gets an exclusive engine. The Titanium and Platinum trims that surround the Sport both get a 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine that delivers 231 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. These numbers are certainly respectable, but the Sport does one better.
With a focus on performance, the Sport trim has been outfitted with a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 engine that can output up to 325 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. What’s more, this comes attached to a standard AWD drivetrain, and all this still gets up to 17-city mpg and 26-highway mpg.

Fusion Sport interior features
On the inside, the Fusion Sport comes with Dark Earth Gray Miko® and leather seats as another exclusive feature. Of course, these seats are also heated and can be cooled as an optional feature. The floormats are even decked out with the Sport logo.
Exterior different to the Fusion Sport
Though the Platinum trim above the Sport also gets 19-inch wheels, the rims that come with the Fusion Sport have a dark tarnished look not available at other trim levels. The grille is done in a high-gloss black mesh to provide a solid contrast. In back, the Sport even gets a quad-tip exhaust system.
