Memorial Day is coming up, and if you weren’t already planning on it we highly recommend attending the Fond du Lac WI Memorial Day Parade, or the parade in another town if it is more convenient. Memorial Day is an opportunity to honor and thank those who have served, and the 2016 Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony in Fond du Lac WI is one of our favorites around.

Fond du Lac Memorial day Parade 2016
When: Monday, May 30, 2016 @ 10 a.m.
The Memorial Day Parade in Fond du Lac for 2016 will once again travel along Main Street and end up at Veterans Park. It will begin at 10 a.m. on the corner of Guindon Blvd and Main Street, and travel north until it reaches the park. A ceremony will then be held there immediately after, and we definitely recommend going down to catch the ceremony.
If you’re not sure where Veterans Park is, you can find it at 190 S. Main Street at the corner of Western Ave in downtown Fond du Lac. Veterans Park is a beautiful one-acre park that is used for other Fond du Lac events, including Veteran’s Day ceremonies and the annual Holiday Tree Lighting.

Memorial Day Parade 2016 in Waupun
When: Monday May 30, 2016 @ 9 a.m.
Waupun will also be holding its own Memorial Day Parade in 2016, which will be starting at 9 a.m. and is planned to go down Main Street until it reaches its destination at Shaler Memorial Park at 10 a.m. for a ceremony.
There currently hasn’t been sponsors announced for the Memorial day Parades in Fond du Lac or Waupun, but we can update our blog with new information as it is announced. We hope to see all of you out there on May 30 to help honor those who served at the 2016 Memorial Day Parade in Fond du Lac WI.
