What better way to celebrate winter turning into spring than with a parade? While it might technically be for St. Patrick’s Day, we think it’s fun to celebrate Irish culture and the return of nice weather to Wisconsin! Here’s how you can attend the 2016 St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Oshkosh WI and other St. Patrick’s Day events in the area!

St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Party in Oshkosh
Where: Oshkosh, WI
When: March 19, 2016
The annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Tent Party will once again return to downtown Oshkosh this year, providing plenty of entertainment, music, and traditional meals for all to enjoy. The two headlining music acts are The Roving Scallywags and Whiskey of the damned. All around the 500 block of Main Street will be full of fun for all ages. Activities will be ongoing from 1pm until 10pm, and the parade will kick off as 2pm. The full schedule is below:
- 1pm: Tent Party Opens (547 N Main)
- 2pm: Parade Starts at North Main
- 3pm: Richard’s School of Irish Dance
- 3:45: Children’s REddest Hair and Freckled Face Contests
- 4pm: The Roving Scallywags
- 7pm: Whiskey of the Damned

2016 Shamrock Shuffle in Oshkosh
Where: UWO Student Rec Center
When: March 12 @ noon
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with the annual Shamrock Shuffle! The 2016 Shamrock Shuffle in Oshkosh will be held on March 12, and has become a mainstay activity in Oshkosh when St. Patrick’s Day approaches. The 5k Run/Walk will generate proceeds for the Oshkosh Area United Way and the 4th H.O.O.A.H. — Helping Out Our American Herores. A T-shirt is guarenteed if you register by March 7th by 6 pm, otherwise you can also register the day of the event, if you think you have the luck of the Irish!
