We’re always exciting to see what new things will pop up in our community, but sometimes the oldies are also the goodies — especially when it comes to something as fun as the annual Walleye Weekend Festival. There will be an astounding amount of activities that will be happening at the annual Walleye Weekend for 2016, so there is pretty much something for everyone.
When is the 2016 Walleye Weekend Festival in Fond du Lac?
This year the 2016 Walleye Weekend Festival will be happening from June 10 to June 12, 2016. The whole Festival kicks off on Friday at 3 pm at Lakeside Park — which can be found at 555 N. Park Ave in Fond du Lac WI. We can’t imagine a better venue than Lakeside Park either, since it offers more than 400 acres of space and is one of the best parks in the area.
What Hours is the 2016 Walleye Weekend Festival open?
Friday – 3 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Saturday – 8 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Sunday – 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

What is there to do at the 2016 Walleye Weekend Festival?
So what can you all do at the Walleye Weekend Family Festival? It’s probably easier to talk about things that aren’t there for you to do! The Walleye Weekend Festival will have activities going on all day through the three days, as well as some live music on several different stages. A big draw to the Fest is the Mercury-Marine National Walleye Tournament, which is happening on Saturday and Sunday starting at 6:30 a.m. The tournament will be a team-based event with the opportunity to take home $13,000 in cash prizes for first place, and prizes available down to 75th place.
