Gone are the days when you had to choose between fun and functional, as the ever-burgeoning crossover market makes clear. What is the Ford Focus RS
The Ford Focus is a hatchback that’s got efficiency and versatility on lockdown, but for those who crave a lot of power behind the wheel it might not have been prepared to fit the bill – until now. The Ford Focus RS will take all of the zippy style and personality of the Focus and give it something above and beyond in the powerplant department: a 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine that’ll deliver, in Ford’s estimation, performance numbers that are “well in excess of 315 horsepower.” Add to that Ford Performance All-Wheel Drive and you’ve got a mighty little hatch on your hands.
When is the Ford Focus RS Release Date?
So now, of course, the question is, when can you get in and test drive one of these bad boys? Better yet, when can you look into owning one? The Ford Focus RS is slated to go on sale in United States dealerships beginning in Spring 2016.
