Car Halloween costume ideas
If there’s someone in your family who’s super into cars, chances are they’d enjoy a Halloween costume this year that reflects their favorite hobby! Race car driver: This can be easily purchased as a full suit (and one that will keep your warm, too, if you’re living in our area or someplace else where temperatures are already getting low in late October) or made using some checkered duct tape and a little creative closet scouring!
Your kid could also just be a car! Again, you can purchase a ready-made costume that lets your son or daughter be their favorite vehicle (perhaps a famous cartoon one!) or if you’re the crafty type, there are some not-too-difficult DIY ideas out there as well with easy to follow instructions!
How about a mechanic outfit? Your little Mr. or Mrs. Fix-it can easily throw this costume over a set of everyday clothes — Easy and comfortable!
There are a lot of ways for your little one to show their auto love this Halloween, and we’ve just thrown out a couple to get the ball (or wheels?!) rolling! May we also suggest giving your car itself a fun little Halloween costume? There are lots of fun, simple, and cheap ones available – like this weather-resistant bat costume – that your kids will love to see you pick them up from school in (um, unless they’re in that adolescent stage where they’re embarrassed by everything — might want to skip the bat car in that case).
