Ford at EAA Airventure 2014
As the annual aviation extravaganza that is EAA Airventure nears, we here at Holiday Ford prepare to turn our eyes to the skies to glimpse the many unique and fascinating aircrafts that will make their way over our heads en route to Oshkosh. But as anyone who’s been to the event can attest, there plenty going on at ground level in addition to all the excitement overhead. Attractions are many and varied, but we’re particularly excited to see our friends from Ford at EAA Airventure 2014 – Once again, they’ll be bringing plenty of entertainment, action, and a Thunderbirds-inspired Ford Mustang for auction!
Where can you find Ford at EAA Airventure for 2014? Ford’s makeshift hangar will be located at Booth 346 this year, and with its 65,504 square feet should be hard to miss!
What can you do at the Ford exhibit? The range of activities and attractions is really too huge for us to list exhaustively, but among the NEW for 2014 features you’ll be able to check out:
“50 Years of Mustang” – There will be kids activities, a photo booth, Mustang Pinball, and of course the new 2015 Mustang will be on display. This exhibit is a must for Ford Mustang enthusiasts.
Speaking of new Ford models, this year’s EAA Airventure will be the first opportunity worldwide for all the new 2015 Ford and Lincoln models to be displayed publicly in one location! Check out the all-new F-150 and Super Duty pickup trucks, new Focus and Edge, and the redesigned Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator, among others!
Want to fly without leaving the ground? The Lockheed Martin F-35 Cockpit Demonstration System will give you a chance to simulate flight with real instructor pilots to brief and evaluate your performance.
