Last month, we proudly held the Drive 4 UR Community event at the FIVES Giddings & Lewis building, where we helped raise funds for the Fond du Lac Area United Way through Ford’s generous program. During that event, every test drive taken in a new Ford model stood for another $20 donation from Ford to our local United Way at no cost to the test drivers other than the short time it took to take one of our great models out for a spin and learn more about it! Now we’re at it again in September with Drive 4 UR School in Fond du Lac – this time to benefit St. Mary’s Springs High School!
When and where is the Drive 4 UR School event going to be held? It’ll be on Saturday, September 13th from 9:00am until 2:00pm in the St. Mary’s Springs Academy parking lot, which is located at 114 Amory Street here in Fond du Lac.
How does it work? It’s simple. You test drive one of the new Ford models we’ve got at St. Mary’s on the 13th – There will be cars, SUVs, and pickups to choose from – and Ford Motor Company and Holiday Automotive donates $20 to the school to help with the construction of their new facilities. Under the program, we can raise as much at $6,000 to benefit the students of St. Mary’s Springs, so let’s make it happen!
What else is going on that day? It happens to coincide with the St. Mary’s Springs 5th and 6th grade football games that will also be taking place at the school at that time, so make sure to check out some of the young players showing off their skills.
As for rules, participants need to be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license, and please only one test drive per household.
