Early May brought the celebration of mothers everywhere, and now it’s time for the dads to have their day. Whether you want to go out to eat or get up to something a little more active, we’ve got your Father’s Day Milwaukee 2015 events and activities here in this roundup.

Father’s Day 2015 is Sunday, June 21st this year, but we’ll also include things happening on Saturday the 20th as well in case you’re looking to round out the weekend.

If Dad’s a music lover…

Check out the Summer Solstice Music Festival on Saturday June 20 on East North and Murray Avenues. It goes from 10am until midnight, and there are three stages with local acts, food, drinks, activities for kids, the whole works.

Or maybe he’s more into cheese?

We’ve got not one but two cheesy (in the good way) events, depending on whether Dad’s a wine guy or more into the harder stuff. First there’s the Wisconsin Cheesemakers’ & Wine Train at The Elegant Farmer – it’s a two-hour tour with more than 20 award-winning Wisconsin cheeses, and you’ll get to ride the air-conditioned, restored East Troy Electric Railroad’s Dinner Car. Saturday June 20 from 1-3:00pm. Also on the 20th is the Brandy & Cheese pairing at the Uber Tap Room. Three Brandys, three artisinal cheeses, starts at 7:00pm.

For the dads with little ones…

The Betty Brinn Children’s Museum is a great place to take kids of all ages, and the current Bugs on the Balcony exhibit is a lot of fun in addition to everything else the museum has to offer. On Sunday the 21st, dads get in for free!

Milwaukee Fathers Day 2015Hungry?

Hey, Dad’s gotta eat. How about a nice Beer Hall Brunch at Lakefront Brewery. From 10am-5:00pm you can get everything from breakfast staples like scrambled eggs or biscuits and gravy to beer hall favorites like pretzels, cheese curds, and brats. And of course there’s the beer.

Whatever you and Dad decide to do for Father’s Day 2015 in Milwaukee, we hope you have a great day celebrating. Let us know if you’d like to come test drive a Mustang sometime!
