First, a little bit about how Interbrand narrows its annual list: Starting with the list of 100 Best Global Brands that Interbrand also compiles annually, public perception as well as environmental and sustainability performance data are used to determine which brands constitute the top half of that list from a green perspective. Once the 50 Best Global Green Brands are determined, they’re ranked – and this year, Ford came up at number one! That’s up from second place last year and 15th the year before. As you can see, Ford’s leaping ahead on green initiatives, and we’re excited to bring you access to some of the fruits of that ongoing effort.
