As far as mid-size sedans go, the 2017 Ford Fusion is both incredibly sport and fuel efficient. Its standard engine is rated by the EPA for 32 MPG on the highway. This isn’t the only engine in the Ford Fusion, though, and if you go with the 1.5L EcoBoost I-4 then your highway efficiency goes up to 34 MPG, and your total range reaches 561 miles on one tank. Certain variables like it being very windy or speeding can lower your highway efficiency — especially the speeding — so keep this in mind!
2017 Ford Fusion Energi Mile Range
Along with its gas-powered only engines, the 2017 Ford Fusion also has two efficient hybrid models. The first is a standard hybrid that keeps the performance of the regular Fusion, but extends your efficiency to a 42 MPG combined rating. The Hybrid model uses a smaller fuel tank, but you will still end up with 588 drivable miles from your tank.
