2015 Ford Mustang Official Specs
Since it’s initial reveal back in December of 2013, we’ve been eagerly awaiting the full list of details about the incoming 2015 Mustang, and that time has finally arrived! That’s right – 2015 Ford Mustang official specs have been released, and we get to share all of the details with you here on our blog. Alright, so let’s get to the numbers that Mustang fans really want to hear about: horsepower and torque! You can expect the following for the various engine options:
3.7-liter V6 standard engine: 300 hp @ 6500 rpm & 280 lb.-ft. of torque @ 4000 rpm
2.3-liter EcoBoost I-4: 310 hp @ 5500 rpm & 320 lb.-ft of torque @ 3000 rpm
5.0-liter V8: 435 hp @ 4250 rpm & 400 lb.-ft. or torque @ 4250 rpm
There’s also a very wide range of wheel options available to you on the various trim levels, ranging from 17” sparkle silver painted aluminum, which looks great and comes standard on the V6 and EcoBoost models, up to 20” Foundry Black painted and machined aluminum, which comes as an option on the EcoBoost Premium and GT Premium models – with plenty of great options in between for you to decide from.
How about fuel economy? Okay, we’re still holding out for the EPA-ratings on fuel economy for the 2015 Ford Mustang with the various engine options, but as soon as those numbers are released you’ll be sure to hear from us again on the blog!
