The Ford Fusion Sport and Taurus SHO are two more great options. So what is the difference between the Ford Fusion Sport and Taurus SHO?
Performance numbers for the Ford Fusion Sport and Taurus SHO
The Fusion Sport and Taurus SHO model are performance trims on Ford’s mid- and full-size sedans. If you go with the Fusion Sport, you will have access to 325 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque from its 2.7L EcoBoost V6 engine. This is paired with an all-wheel drive system and a 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. You can expect to get around 26 MPG on the highway with the Fusion Sport.

The Taurus SHO, on the other hand, is rocking a 3.5L EcoBoost V6 with 365 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. Much like the Fusion Sport, the Taurus SHO also comes standard with an all-wheel drive system and a 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. The Taurus SHO gets about 24 MPG on the highway.

Should I get the 2017 Ford Fusion Sport or the 2016 Ford Taurus SHO?
Both of these models have performance numbers that you’d expect to find in a sports car, but they’re wrapped up in a sedan package. They have just sporty enough of a look without going overboard and definitely have a sleekness to them. As they both come with some exciting tech features and a comfortable interior, we think that it ultimately comes down to which you think drives better. The Taurus also offers a bit more room than the Fusion, though you’ll have a slight drop in efficiency. These are all important factors to consider.
