Ford Evasive Steering Alert
One of Ford’s newest advanced safety features is Evasive Steering Alert. It works in a similar way as some existing Ford tech, but with some improvements made. Its purpose is to help you avoid colliding with a slow or stopped vehicle in front of you, whether you’re driving at highway or city speeds. If it detects a significantly slower vehicle in front of you (or an object like a downed tree) it will alert you. If you can safely avoid a collision, the system will give you steering support so you can easily move to the side. It will also automatically apply the brake if the driver fails to do so.
Ford Wrong Way Alert
Another piece of tech that Ford will start incorporating into its vehicles is a Wrong-way alert. This one will use a camera mounted on the windshield that teams up with your car’s navigation system. The two will work together and alert you with visual and audio warnings if you start driving the wrong way.

Ford Enhanced Park Assist
We’ve definitely discussed this system and how it works before, but it’s one that Ford is always looking to perfect. Things are steadily improving from year to year with Ford’s Enhanced Park Assist. Ford doesn’t just help you with getting into parking spaces, though, it also has tech to help you stay aware of your surroundings when pulling out of one. Cross-traffic alert with braking technology will give you an auditory alert if someone is approaching from your side and can even apply the brakes for you.
