What makes the Ford Raptor’s Tires Special?
But aren’t tires just tires? When you’re looking at a performance vehicle like the Ford Raptor, tire selection becomes very key in making sure the vehicle delivers on its expectations. The new BFGoodrich tires have a special new tread pattern to allow for more contact with the ground to help gain traction. It also has wide channels between the tread, as well as large sidewall lugs to both enhance off-roading performance and make sure your tires last. They’re more than just ideal tires for off-roading, though, as other changes made have allowed the Raptor to be extremely comfortable driving down a regular street.
