The Wisconsin State Fair is one of those events that many people from all across the state look forward to eagerly every year. It feels like we have been asking ourselves for forever when is the 2016 Wisconsin State Fair, but it is finally just about upon us. August 4 will kick off the state fair this year, and we hope to see you there!
When does the 2016 Wisconsin State Fair End?
The State Fair will be running from Aug. 4 to the 14 this year. From the first Sunday to Thursday the State Fair will be open from 8am to 11pm. Friday and Saturday has the fair open from 8am to midnight. And on the final Sunday the State Fair will be open from 8am to 10pm. Ticket sales and admission to the fair will stop one hour before close on each day.

What rides are at the Wisconsin State Fair?
By our count there are more than 50 different rides at the 2016 Wisconsin State Fair at the Spincity Amusement Ride and Game Area. Some of the featured rides this year include: Magnum, Super Nova Roller Coaster, the New York Funhouse, Equinox, and the Magic Maze Funhouse. But don’t worry because classics rides like the Zipper and Tilt-A-Whirl will also be at the 2016 Wisconsin State Fair.
How much are rides at the Wisconsin State Fair?
Spincity operates entirely on a ticket system. According to the Fair’s website you can expect each ride, game, or attraction to cost about 3-5 tickets. You can purchase tickets in bulk at 40 tickets for $30 or 25 tickets for $20. Otherwise tickets can be purchased for $1 each. Want to spend the entire day enjoying some of the rides at the State Fair? You can get a wristband for $35 (or $40 on Saturday/Sunday) and enjoy unlimited rides on that day!
