Different Ford F-150 Models

So you’re in the market for a new Ford pickup. First of all, congratulations! Whether it’s your first or fifth Ford truck, you’re going to be pleased with all the excellent features and capability offered on these new models. You’ve also got some key decisions on your hands. How about cab size, bed length, and trim level? Today we’ll go over some of the different Ford F-150 models and what they offer so you can have an easier time narrowing it down when it comes time to decide which one will best meet your needs and budget.

STX: The STX is one of the simpler (but certainly mighty!) Ford F-150 models out there. If you’re less into the bells and whistles and want a straightforward work truck to get the job done the Ford way, this is a model you might want to come in and test drive. It comes standard with a remote keyless entry system, AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control, and a 40/20/40 front seat, the center section of which can be folded down as an armrest when not in use.

XLT: This might just be the most popular model, and it’s probably because it’s in the sweet spot that encompasses affordability and great features. Voice-activated SYNC lets you stay in touch and control your music with your hands on the wheel –  upgrade to SYNC with MyFord an enhanced screen that makes it even easier to view and control your in-cabin experience. An available Reverse Sensing System gives you an alert when there’s an obstacle up to six feet behind you while backing.

Lariat: In the Lariat, your options get even better with available  SYNC with MyFord Touch –  “touch” being the operative word as you can now have even more at your fingertips. Also the side mirrors that are available on this model are really on another level than your average side-mirrors: they can telescope for towing, fold in to squeeze by, and heated glass means you’ll never have to worry about them in winter.

We’ll leave it at those three for now –  the highest trims probably deserve their own post (stay tuned!). Any questions about the Ford F-150 models in stock now here at Holiday Ford in Fond du Lac? Call or stop in today!
