How many engine options are there for the 2019 Fusion?
2019 Ford Fusion engine options Believe it or not, there are a total of four engine options for the 2019 Ford Fusion. Ford loves providing its customers with options, but even two is high for a sedan in the same class as the Fusion. With so many to choose from, you may need a little help, and that’s why we created this 2019 Ford Fusion engine options guide. 2.5-Liter IVCT Trim Levels: S Horsepower: 175 Torque: 175 Pound-Feet FWD MPG: 21-City / 32-Highway AWD MPG: NA 2019 Ford Fusion SE EcoBoost engine 1.5-Liter EcoBoost Trim Levels: SE, SES Horsepower: 181 Torque: 185 Pound-Feet FWD MPG: 23-City / 34-Highway AWD MPG: NA 2019 Ford Fusion Titanium EcoBoost engine 2.0-Liter EcoBoost Trim Levels: SE, SES, Titanium Horsepower: 245 Torque: 275 Pound-Feet FWD MPG: 21-City / 31-Highway AWD MPG: 20-City / 29-Highway 2019 Ford EcoBoost Sport EcoBoost engine 2.7-Liter V6 EcoBoost Trim Levels: Sport Horsepower: 325 Torque: 350 Pound-Feet FWD MPG: NA AWD MPG: 17-City / 26-Highway 2019 Ford Fusion Titanium white front viewHow to get a Fusion the 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine? You may have noticed that though the Titanium comes exclusively with the more powerful 2.0-liter engine, both the SE trim and the SES trim list the 4-cylinder EcoBoost engines as an option. How do you get the SE or SES with the 2.0-liter EcoBoost? The answer is quite simple actually. Read More: Does the 2019 Fusion have heated seats? To get the SE and SES trims with the 2.0-liter EcoBoost, you have to opt for all-wheel drive which is an available feature on all trims but the S. Interestingly, this also means the only place you can get the 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine with front-wheel drive is in the Titanium trim. What is Co-Pilot360? What does IVCT stand for? You may have noticed that nearly all the engine options on the list above feature EcoBoost. For those not in the know, EcoBoost is the Ford version of turbocharging. With it, these engines are optimized for both power and efficiency. That’s simple enough, but IVCT is a little different. Instead of relying on a turbo, IVCT uses some engine trickery to get both efficiency and performance. IVCT stands for Intake Variable Cam Timing. Essentially, an IVCT engine from Ford can vary the timing of the intake valves depending on the situation allowing them to open longer during heavy acceleration and still go back to an efficient configuration while cruising.

Why Doesn’t My Ford Have a Gas Cap?
Why New Ford Vehicles Don’t Have Traditional Gas Caps When you go to fill up your new Ford in Oshkosh for the first time, don’t panic: your new Ford’s gas cap isn’t missing! Your Ford doesn’t have a gas cap. Instead, it comes with Ford’s Easy Fuel® Capless Fuel Filler. In place of a gas cap, the new capless fuel filler has two locking flaps to keep your fuel in as you fill up. We at Holiday Ford have put together a brief guide on the fueling technology to go over how to use it, what the advantages are, and how to refill from a portable gas tank. How to Fill Up a Ford Without a Gas Cap Using a capless fuel filler from Ford while filling up around Appleton is simple. Open the fuel door like you normally would, then push the fuel pump nozzle past the little flap. Once through, keep pushing until you feel it pop past the second flap, then you can fill up as normal. Once you’re done pumping, let the nozzle rest for five seconds before removing. This will help keep the area between the flaps clear of fuel. Advantages of Not Having a Gas Cap There are a lot of advantages to having a capless fuel filler on your Ford. One of the biggest not having to mess around with a gas cap. Without it, you don’t have to worry about losing it, or leaving it dangling against your sensitive paint. Overall, the system is also simply easier to use, and even those with arthritis shouldn’t have a problem operating it. Not only is it easier for the user, but it’s also harder for thieves. With the gas cap replaced by the mechanisms involved in a capless fuel filler, it is virtually impossible to steal gas out of a tank. Filling Up Your Ford With a Portable Gas Tank Without a Gas Cap Due to the auto-locking nature of the fuel filler in your Ford, you can’t fill up from a portable gas tank like you normally would. Instead, you need to use a special funnel that Ford included with your vehicle. In most vehicles, this funnel can be found in your trunk or cargo area. Refer to the manual for more specific details. In order to fill up, simply insert the funnel through both flaps, just like you would a fuel pump nozzle. Then pour gasoline into the funnel being careful not to overflow the funnel. As with a fuel pump nozzle, allow it to drain for five seconds before removing. Discover More Ford Technology at Holiday Ford in Fond Du Lac! Now that you know why your Ford doesn’t have a gas cap, you can fill up at your local Campbellsport gas station with confidence. If you have more questions about the new technology in your Ford vehicles, feel free to visit our Ford research page or contact us with any questions!
Differences between the Focus sedan and hatchback
Does the 2018 Ford Focus come as a sedan and a hatchback? The Focus is a fun car from Ford, but is it a sedan or a hatchback? Does the 2018 Ford Focus come as a sedan and a hatchback? This can be a major question for some, especially those considering a compact car, and we are going to provide you with some answers. 2018 Ford Focus Hatchback gray back side viewWhat body styles is the 2018 Focus available in? The Focus first debuted in North America with the 2000 model year, and it debuted as a sedan, a hatchback, and a wagon. The wagon model is long gone, but the sedan and hatchback are both still available stateside. One of the major changes from the original hatchback is the inclusion of four passenger doors. When the Focus first debuted with its hatchback, it only had two passenger doors. Now all Focus models can comfortably accommodate five people, with four access doors. Sedan and hatchback differences for the Focus Outside of a few special models, the Ford Focus sedan and hatchback are both very similar. For the trim levels they share, they have the same features and engine options, though the hatchback tends to have a slightly higher MSRP. There are small differences in fuel economy, but the major difference is in cargo capacity. The hatchback Focus models allow for easy access to the rear and give you 23.8 cubic-feet of cargo room. You can also fold down those rear seats to provide up to 44.8 cubic-feet of cargo room. The sedan on the other hand, provides 13.2 cubic-feet of cargo room in the trunk. 2018 Ford Focus Sedan S silver front side view Special sedan only Focus models The one trim unique to the sedan is actually the base model S trim. It has a starting MSRP of just $17,950 giving you a much lower entry point into the Focus lineup. The most affordable hatchback option is the SE at an MSRP of $20,540. 2018 Ford Focus RS red front view Special Hatchback only models The hatchback version of the Focus actually has three unique trim levels all residing at the higher end of the spectrum. It has the performance ST and RS, the latter of which comes with all-wheel drive, and there’s also the Focus Electric which is exclusively a hatchback
